Woodbridge Burglar Arrested: PD

He is also a suspect in many other Connecticut and Rhode Island burglaries.

WOODBRIDGE, CT — A man who is suspected in several burglaries across Connecticut and Rhode Island was arrested for a burglary in Woodbridge, according to police.

Police served Steven Aberg, 28, with a warrant on Aug. 1 while he was in the custody of the Department of Corrections.

He was captured after a pursuit in Waterbury on July 11.

Aberg forced entry to a residence in May and stole jewelry, according to police. Forensic evidence at the scene was linked back to Aberg. He was charged with third-degree burglary and sixth-degree larceny.
