Woodbridge Man Asleep At Traffic Light Charged: Naugatuck PD
A person called police to report that the driver was sleeping inside his car while at a traffic light, police said.

NAUGATUCK, CT — A Woodbridge man is accused of driving while under the influence in Naugatuck, police said. At 11:01 p.m. on Dec. 2, a police officer responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint on Prospect Street, police said.
The caller stated that the accused, Brandon Perez, 24, of Manville Road in Woodbridge, was asleep in his vehicle at the light located at the intersection of Prospect and Locust streets, police said. During the investigation it was determined that the accused was driving while under the influence of alcohol, police said.
He is charged with DUI and released on a $500 non-surety bond.
