Woodbridge Package Thefts Investigated

Police are asking the public to help identify the thieves.

WOODBRIDGE, CT — Police are seeking to identify package thieves who ripped off numerous Woodbridge residents Dec. 20.

The thieves struck between noon and 3 p.m. He stole packages that were left on front porches and garages in town, police said.

Police are looking for a tan four-door Oldsmobile Alero with a spoiler and a plastic bag over the driver's side window. The vehicle has Connecticut plates.

The vehicle was occupied by two people at the time of the thefts. The front seat passenger is a white male who exited the car, rang doorbells to see if anyone was home and then stole packages when no one answered the door.

The thefts occurred on Robin Road, Fox Den Way and Rimmon Road.
