Woodbridge To Participate In National Drug Takeback Day

The event provides the public the opportunity to have police properly dispose of unused or unwanted pharmaceuticals.

WOODBRIDGE, CT — On Saturday, October 29, 2022, the Woodbridge Police Department will be participating in the Drug Enforcement Administration’s 22nd Nationwide Prescription Drug Take Back Day.

The event provides the public with the opportunity to surrender pharmaceutical controlled substances and other medications to law enforcement for destruction.

Residents are welcome to visit the Woodbridge Police Department on October 29, 2022, between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., to surrender their pharmaceutical controlled substances and medications.

Residents are also reminded that the Woodbridge Rotary Club and B.O.W.D.A.A.C. provided the Woodbridge Police Department with a receptacle to deposit their unwanted prescriptions and medications 24/7/365. The Rx Drop Box is located in the lobby of the Police Department.
