Woodbridge Police: $25K Reward In 2019 Abdur Terrell Shooting Death

The New Haven man was found dead in a wooded area of Woodbridge near the New Haven town line 24 hours after his family reported him missing.

WOODBRIDGE, CT — A $25,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction in the November 2019 shooting death of Abdur Terrell of New Haven, Woodbridge police announced Friday.

Terrell was found dead in a wooded area of Woodbridge near the New Haven town line. His death was ruled a homicide by the state Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

Terrell’s phone and his personal belongings were located on the shoulder of Woodfield Road in Woodbridge on the evening of November 9, 2019, around 24 hours after his family reported him missing to the New Haven Police Department.

Investigators found that in the hours before his killing, Terrell was seen in both Hamden and New Haven.
