Woodbridge Connecticut Police Department Arrest Log for Feb. 9, 2018

• Arrestee: Juvenile, age 14, of New Haven, CT
• Charges: 21a-279(a) Possession Of Narcotics, 53a-124 Larceny 3rd Degree, 53a-49/53a-124 Criminal Attempt To Commit Larceny 3rd Degree, and 53a-167a Interfering With An Officer

• Arrestee: Juvenile, age 15, of Branford, CT
• Charges: 53a-124 Larceny 3rd Degree and 53a-49/53a-124 Criminal Attempt To Commit Larceny 3rd Degree,

On January 28, 2018 at about 5:17 a.m. members of the Woodbridge Police Department along with the Woodbridge Fire Department responded to a one (1) car motor vehicle accident on Racebrook Road. Upon the Officers' arrival the involved vehicle was found to be unoccupied. A check of the vehicle's registration revealed the vehicle was stolen from Wallingford on January 27, 2018.

While the Officers were investigating the accident, and attempting to locate the vehicle's occupants, a resident from Timber Lane called WPD advising that they heard their vehicle start in their driveway. Officers responded to the residence and requested a K9 in an attempt to locate the suspect(s). Their immediate search of the area was negative. At about 9:30 a.m.

Police located the two (2) above juveniles. Both juveniles had items in their possession linking them to both of the above incidents. Both juveniles were arrested and transported to the Woodbridge Police Department where they were charged with the above. Both juveniles were released into the custody of their parents and issued a court date of February 15, 2018 in New Haven Juvenile Court for their arraignments.


• Arrestee: Tiffany Hobby, age 36, of 39 Lodge St. New Haven, CT
• Charges: 53a-173 Failure To Appear 2nd Degree

On January 31, 2018, members of the Woodbridge Police Department were conducting motor vehicle enforcement on Amity Road. Upon conducting a motor vehicle stop of a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed it was determined that a passenger in the vehicle, Tiffany Hobby, had an active criminal re-arrest warrant, police said.

The arrest warrant stemmed from a February 2017 motor vehicle violation where Hobby failure to appear in court. Hobby was charged with 53a-173 Failure To Appear 2nd Degree. Hobby was unable to post her $150.00 cash bond and was transported to New Haven Superior Court on this date for her arraignment.


• Arrestee: Justin Louis, age 36, of 33 Hazel St New Haven, CT
• Charges: 53a-125b Larceny 6th Degree

On February 01, 2018 at about 4:30 p.m. the Woodbridge Police Department responded to a shoplifting complaint at Phillips 66 Gas Station. The responding Officer’s investigation revealed that Justin Louis of New Haven entered the store, requested two (2) cartons of cigarettes, and left the store without paying for them, police said. On February 02, 2018 Louis was located in the area and taken into custody, police said. Louis was charged with 53a-125b Larceny 6th and was released on a $500 non-surety bond with a court date of February 16, 2018 in New Haven Superior Court for arraignment.
