Woodbridge Pursues New Emergency Radio System

The $2.1 million expense will need to be approved by residents at a special town meeting.

WOODBRIDGE, CT - An old emergency services radio system has spotty coverage and plenty of static, and now the town is asking residents to approve spending $2.1 million for a new system, according to Woodbridge Town News. The Boards of Finance and Selectmen were expected to set a date for a special town meeting on the project. The Fire and Police departments have said the old system has outlived its usefulness and is now a danger to residents.
