Woodbridge Real Estate Firm Brokers Business Transaction

Eric Rosales has bought the retail shopping center at 437-453 Campbell Ave. in West Haven for $200,000 in a deal brokered by Levey Miller Maretz Real Estate Services.

Rosales owns Smart Tax Services, one of several tenants in the retail complex. He purchased the building from the estate of Ronald Chernovetz and plans to make various improvements to the property as its new owner.

The landmark location in downtown West Haven, at the intersection with New Street, is home to Johnny’s Grille, which has been in business since 1949. Other tenants are Japanese restaurant Mecha-Uma, Sal’s Barber Shop, Chocolate Angel Boutique & Beyond, Sawdust Joe’s painting studio and Cameo Cleaners.

Levey Miller Maretz, of Woodbridge, represented both the buyer and the seller in this deal.
