Woodbridge Resident Promoted at First Niagara

First Niagara Financial Group (Nasdaq: FNFG) has announced the promotion of David Cantor to Senior Vice President and Business Banking Team Leader for the New England Region. With more than 25 years of experience in providing businesses with financial solutions, he leads a team of relationship managers and portfolio administrators that serve commercial customers throughout Connecticut and Western Massachusetts.

“Dave’s experience and extensive market knowledge have been instrumental in expanding our business banking relationships throughout the region,” said Robert Nichols, Director of Business Banking. “He provides immense value to our customers and strong leadership to his team.”

Mr. Cantor joined First Niagara in 2011 as Business Banking Team Leader for the Southern Connecticut market. His promotion expands his leadership and oversight responsibilities to include First Niagara’s entire New England region.

Prior to joining First Niagara, David held leadership positions with Farmington Bank and UPS Capital Business Credit. He is a graduate of Tufts University, President of The Curtis Home in Meriden, and serves on the boards of the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce and Community Economic Development Fund. He resides in Woodbridge, CT with his family.
