Woodbridge Retail and Restaurants Invited to Meeting
First Selectman Scalettar is meeting with the Town's varios business sectors
The Town of Woodbridge is initiating business sector meetings in order to strengthen economic development. At sector meetings First Selectman Ellen Scalettar invites business representatives from the same industry to meet with each other and discuss common issues.
Retail and restaurants are invited to a meeting on May 18 at 9 a.m. at Town Hall (11 Meetinghouse Lane) to discuss common issues and potential collaborations, such as Restaurant Week or retail promotions.
Scalettar will also update the businesses on Town and State projects, such as the effort to improve signage in the Business District, improve safety for cyclists and pedestrians in the area and the state’s plans for Exit 59.

“My goal is to take our economic development efforts to the next level. We will continue to provide meaningful networking opportunities for our local businesses and to learn if there are any industry trends or concerns with which the Town can be helpful,” said First Selectman Scalettar.
If you’re interested in attending please let Assistant Administrative Officer Betsy Yagla know by emailing byagla@woodbridgect.org or calling 203-389-3403.
