Woodbridge Veterans Day Ceremony To Honor Military Service

Woodbridge will honor those who served in the United States Armed Forces at its annual Veterans Day ceremony, according to a town announcement. Barry Josephs, a Vietnam veteran and former U.S. Army captain, will lead the observance.

Josephs' remarks will focus on the Purple Heart Medal. The program will feature vocals by Kathy Barkin, the Woodbridge Police Honor Guard, a memorial wreath and participation by elected officials and invited dignitaries. The Rev. Brian Bodt will deliver the invocation and benediction.

After the ceremony, all are welcome to gather for coffee and refreshments at the new Woodbridge Community & Cultural Center, 4 Newton Road. The town's announcement does not specify the ceremony's date, time or location.
