WOODBRIDGE, CT — A Woodbridge woman was charged on a warrant for an incident at a local childcare facility, police said. On Feb. 21, Gail Halprin, 74, of Rimmon Road, turned herself in on an active arrest warrant, police said.

The arrest warrant stems from a November 2017 issue at a local childcare facility, police said. Halprin was charged with two counts of risk of injury to a minor, two counts of breach of peace and two counts of second-degree reckless endangerment. She was released on a promise to appear in court on March 7.
