Woodbridge Woman Charged With DUI After Accident: Police

Police said earlier this month they responded to a report of an accident.

WOODBRIDGE, CT — A Woodbridge woman is accused of driving while under the influence at the time of a motor vehicle accident, police said. On Nov. 3, members of the Woodbridge Police Department responded to the area of Amity Road near the New Haven town-line for the report of a one vehicle motor vehicle accident, police said.

Upon arrival officers met with the vehicle’s operator, Nicole Wyda, 34, of Ranch Road, police said. Police said it was determined that Wyda was operating her vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

Wyda failed the on-scene field sobriety tests and was arrested, police said. After posting a $100.00 bond Wyda was released from custody and issued a court date. She is charged with DUI and failure to drive in established lane.
