Woodbridge Woman Stole 2 TVs and Checks Belonging to a Naugatuck Resident: Police
Police said they made an arrest on a warrant for the reported burglary.

NAUGATUCK, CT — A woman is accused of entering a Naugatuck resident's home and stealing two televisions and personal checks, police said.
Police said on Sept. 16 Desirea Duda, 29, of Rimmon Road in Woodbridge was charged on a warrant.
Police said said on April 29, Duda allegedly entered the victim's house and stolen two television and personal checks.

The checks were cashed at various locations which included CVS, Walgreens and Wal-Mart, police said.
Duda is charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree identity theft, third-degree forgery, and sixth-degree larceny.

She was released after posting a $2,500 bond.
