Woodbridge: Your 2014 Midterm Election Results

The results for local races.

For the 114th State House District, the winner is Republican Themis Klarides with 5,835 votes over Democrat Aldon Hynes’ 2,951 votes. In Woodbridge, Klarides received 2,228 votes while Hynes received 1,434 votes, according to the Connecticut Post.

For the 17th Senatorial District, the winner is Democrat Joseph Crisco with 15,229 votes over Republican Philip Tripp’s 12,771 votes. According to the Connecticut Post, in Woodbridge, Crisco received 1,877 votes while Tripp received 1,229 votes.

Democrat Gayle Slossberg has been reelected to the 14th Senatorial District, according to the Connecticut Mirror. In Woodbridge, Slossberg received 316 votes while Republican Matt Gaynor received 237 votes, the Connecticut Post reports.

Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro has won her 13th term serving Connecticut’s third congressional district.

In Woodbridge, Tom Foley and Heather Somers received 1,660 votes while Dannel Malloy and Nancy Wyman received 2,050 votes, according to the Connecticut Post.
