Talent show, Bethwood Bash and Yoga for middle school students
Amity’s Got Talent!
Bethany, Orange and Woodbridge 7th and 8th grade residents--Join us for the Bethwood Bash’s Amity’s Got Talent Show at the Amity Teen Center, 10 Selden Street, Woodbridge on Friday, March 27th from 7-9:30 pm.
The Teen Center will only be open to Amity Middle School students that evening! Subway sandwiches, tons of gaming, billiards, foosball tables, air hockey, a full basketball court and a music room plus a talent show all for just $5.00.
Save the date: Woodbridge and Bethany 7th and 8th grade residents are invited to the Bethwood Bash’s annual semi-formal event on Friday, May 1, 2015 at the Senior Center in Woodbridge Center building. For more information please contact Woodbridge Youth Services at youthone@woodbridgect.org.

Basic Yoga –with certified Yoga Instructor: Julie Luciani
Amity Middle School- Bethany students there’s still time to sign up and join! All participants must complete a permission slip and make payment to Woodbridge Youth Services prior to starting this class. For more information or to sign up please call Woodbridge Youth Services at 203-389-3429.
This twice weekly class will introduce 30 basic yoga poses and breath awareness with an emphasis on optimal alignment and is geared for newcomers to yoga, and for those who wish to practice basics. The class will work toward mastering the postures and them move toward a gentle Vinyassa flow (linking postures). The four week class will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Middle School for eight sessions beginning March 10th and run from 2:30-3:30pm. The late bus is available following class. Class is limited to 12 participants. Participants must bring a yoga mat and wear appropriate loose clothing.
