Watertown, CT - August 20, 2013 -
Robert J. Alvine, President of Premier
Watertown, celebrated the Grand Opening
of Premier Subaru
Watertown and Volvo
of Watertown at a recent ribbon cutting ceremony
at the dealerships, located at 795 Straits
Turnpike, Route 63, in Watertown, on the former
site of Chase Parkway Subaru and Volvo.



 "We look forward to bringing an exciting new automotive sales and service experience to customers in the Greater
Waterbury market", Alvine
said.



 "Both Subaru and Volvo have well-deserved reputations for reliability, safety and craftsmanship," he added. "And we believe the "hassle-free value" approach the Premier brand is known for will work hand-in-hand in building upon that reputation."

 "In fact for 12 consecutive years, Premier Subaru in Branford,
our first store, has earned Subaru's highest award for sales and service
excellence. We continued that commitment
to excellence with the opening
of our Premier Kia dealership
in Branford last October; and we fully intend
to bring that same intensity
of dedication to these new Subaru and Volvo acquisitions."



 Kerri Pacheco
is the store's new General
Manager. Ms. Pacheco
comes to Premier Watertown from executive positions
at Kia Motors America
and American Honda Motor Company. "Being a native of the Torrington area, I am so glad to be back in the area and am looking forward to exceeding
the expectations of our clients."

 Premier Subaru Watertown and Volvo of Watertown are owned by Robert J.
Alvine, President of the
Premier Automotive Group.



 Mr. Alvine
is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island
with a degree in Finance
and holds a MBA from the University of New Haven.



He began his career
in the banking business in 1988 and moved to the automotive industry in 1997. In 2000,
he formed Premier Subaru in Branford and continues to serve as its' President and General Manager.
In October 2011,
he formed Premier
Kia in Branford.



 As an active participant in the automotive industry, Alvine is the incoming
Chairman - effective
2014 - for the Subaru of America National Dealer Advisory Board.
He also serves on the Product Planning
Committee and is Chairman of the Subaru
of New England Dealer Advisory
Board.



 On a local level, he is a Board Member for the Better Business Bureau of Connecticut, Jane Doe No More, and the University of Rhode Island College of Business Advisory Board.
