A Parade Fit for a Giant

Thousands of people pack the streets of Manhattan to welcome the Super XLVI champs back to town and Branford High School football player is there!

Branford's , is among the thousands of people lining the streets of Manhattan today as the Super Bowl XLVI champs, the , enjoy a much deserved ticker tape parade after defeating the New England Patriots 21 to 17 on Sunday. The Giants are celebrated in the Canyon of Heroes and the parade begins at 11 a.m.

junior Justin Pelazza, a self-proclaimed Giants fanatic, is down on the ground now and reports from the scene via Twitter, "Have been waiting for an hour in this spot. About 8 people deep everywhere."

Pelazza is a lifelong Giants fan, plays football as well and is captain of this year’s squad.
