Dr. Michael H. Sheard of Stony Creek, CT died peacefully on June 15, 2011.
Born in the UK on August 23rd, 1927. Michael was a dedicated Physician, Surgeon, and Psychiatrist. Retired from Yale in 1991. He was a compassionate loving Husband, Father and Friend.
Michael was an avid reader, swimmer, boater, hiker, writer. Michael was pre-deceased by his wife Wendy Stedman Sheard. He was a devoted Father to Paul, Russell, Craig Sheard along with his Stepchildren Amanda Bourque and Anthony Stedman.

A memorial service will be held in an informal setting at Michael's residence located at 693 Leetes Island Rd, Branford, CT 06405 from 3-5 PM on Sat the 25th of June, 2011. In lieu of any flowers a donation can be made to the Branford Land Trust.
