UPDATE: Celebrate Glam As Sephora Store To Open In Branford Kohl's

BRANFORD, CT — For many, this is beautiful news.

A Sephora store is opening inside the Branhaven Plaza Kohl's store on July 8, store officials confirmed. A previous version of this story noted July 4 as opening day as Patch was told by a Kohl's representative. We've since been told the store opens July 8.

It was announced in fall of 2021 that some select Kohl's department stores would soon include a Sephora store within a store. A recent Patch trip to the retail department store, that anchors the Branford-based plaza, found the undercover work underway.

When first announced, there were just two Kohl's in Connecticut that would house a Sephora. In February 2022, it was announced that another 10 would open in ConnecticutKohl's locations, including Branford. But at the time, no dates had yet been made public.

Set to open this year, besides Branford, are locations in Brookfield, Canton, Enfield, Groton, Lisbon, Rocky Hill, Trumbull, Wallingford and West Norwalk.

Sephora at Kohl’s features a 2,500 square foot, fully immersive beauty experience that mimics the look and feel of a freestanding Sephora. Within all Sephora at Kohl’s locations, customers can explore the signature Sephora experience with a carefully curated assortment of prestige makeup, skincare, hair, and fragrance brands, as well as innovations in clean beauty and self-care. Sephora-trained Beauty Advisors offer personalized beauty consultations and assistance with finding products, while testing and discovery zones serve up a rotating assortment of new, emerging or trending products.

We’re excited to grow and bring this elevated beauty experience to more of Kohl’s existing and new customers this year.”
