BRANFORD, CT — Branford's homegrown indie folk duo, Dust Devil Heart, debuts their first album with a concert Saturday evening in Pardee Park.
At the core of Dust Devil Heart, are the singer-songwriters Holley Anderson and Elise Morrison. They write their own songs, sing close vocal harmonies, and play acoustic guitar and electric bass, and are often joined by pedal steel player Spencer Luckey and other collaborators on strings and percussion. The group's first album of original songs, Dwell Time, was produced by Stephen Peter Rodgers, former The Space & Mighty Purple, in Hamden. It's available on Spotify, Amazon Music, and all the streaming platforms.
Dust Devil Heart’s original songs are typically "love songs to places and to nature, and sometimes to people," the duo said.
