Branford Land Trust Kids' Environmental Day Camp Set For Aug. 7

For kids 5-9 who'll enjoy lots of hands-on activities, including touch tanks, woodland and Long Island Sound exploration, nature and more.

BRANFORD, CT — Registration is open for 26th Annual Branford Land Trust Environmental Day Camp for Kids. Set for Aug. 7 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the popular hands-on environmental camp will be held at the Killam’s Point Conference Center.

Described as an "awesome experience," it includes lots of hands-on activities, including touch tanks, woodland and Long Island Sound exploration, nature crafts, and more.

A full day’s agenda, map, and list of what to bring will be mailed upon receipt
of your registration and payment of $45 (additional children, same family $35), or $35 for
BLT members. Scholarships are available.

The annual camp day event is hosted by Branford Land Trust, a local non-profit organization, accredited by the Land Trust Alliance, established in 1967 to protect Branford’s open space and natural resources. Run by volunteers and supported by member families and businesses, the Land Trust manages and protects over 1,000 acres in more than 130 parcels and holds conservation easements on another 400 acres in Branford.
