Branford Makes Decision On School For Wednesday

Branford Public Schools will have an early dismissal on Wednesday, March 21. There will be no p.m. Pre-K. All after-school and evening activities are canceled, officials announced.

A nor'easter is expected to bring up to a foot of snow to the area today. The snow should be at its heaviest this afternoon and evening before it tapers off around midnight.

This is the fourth straight nor'easter Connecticut has seen over the past month. Power outages are expected to be less of a concern this time because while winds may gust to 30-35 mph at times, it won't approach the strength of previous storms.
