Brian J. Pettis, 41, of Branford, was charged with first-degree criminal attempt of first-degree robbery, first-degree threatening-armed/firearm displayed, possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle, and second-degree breach of peace.

Rhamel Cabral, 19, of New Britain, was charged with first-degree failure to appear.
Mario F. Varriale, 52, of New Haven, was charged with sixth-degree larceny.
Aug. 11
Dylan Francis Strazar, 40, of Guilford, was charged with second-degree criminal trespass.
Charles D. Fontano, 58, of Waterbury, was charged with criminal impersonation and sixth-degree larceny.
Aug. 12
Colin Patrick Duffy, 34, of East Haven, was charged with first-degree failure to appear and third-degree larceny.
Christa L. Trudeau, 43, of North Branford, was charged with second-degree breach of peace.
Aug. 13
Jessica Ann McGrady, 38, of Branford, was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.
Aug. 15
Thomas Zampano, 69, of Branford, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief and criminal attempt at illegal entry/coin machine.
Denzel Eugene Hunter, 30, of Hamden, was charged with first-degree criminal trespass and violation of a standing criminal order of protection.
