Branford Police Department Promotes Officer Alexia​ Emery To Sergeant

A former New Haven cop, hired by Branford in 2019, after serving for the last 3 years, now-Sgt. Emery be a Patrol Shift Supervisor.

BRANFORD, CT — Branford police promoted Officer Alexia Emery to the rank of Sergeant. Sergeant Emery will now serve as a Patrol Shift Supervisor. A three-year veteran of the Branford Police Department, she came aboard in October 2019. Read that story here.

Before joining Branford police, she served as a New Haven police officer for three years. While working as a New Haven police officer, Sergeant Emery worked in community policing and addressed "quality of life issues within the City of New Haven" Sergeant Emery was also a member of the New Haven Police Department Recruitment Team.

During her time at the Branford Police Department, she’s been a Field Training Officer, a BolaWrap Instructor, and a member of the Branford Police Department's Recruitment Team.
