Branford Pre-K & Kindergarten Registration Details

From BPS: ●Online registration begins February 20, 2019 (https://tinyurl.com/BPSreglink)

●Following the completion of the online process, parents need to schedule an appointment with the district registrar, Ms. Jessica Strassburg. Hours: M - F, 8:30 - 11 a.m., 1 - 2 p.m.

●If the following documents have not been uploaded to the application, parents need to bring:

○ Two proofs of Branford residence (such as utility or credit card bills in the occupant’s name, current lease agreement, mortgage receipt, bank statement showing bank name and account owner’s address, current valid CT motor vehicle registration, etc.)*
○ Copy of custody agreement (if applicable)
○ Proof of child’s age via birth certificate, passport, or doctor’s record
■ For Pre-K your child needs to be four years of age before January 1, 2020 (students turning five between September 1, 2019 and December 31, 2019 may also enroll if they have not previously attended a district pre-kindergarten program).
■ For Kindergarten your child needs to be five years of age before January 1, 2020.
○ Bring child’s current physical
■ Use Connecticut’s HAR-3 form (Pre-K: https://tinyurl.com/bpsHARformPREK, K-12: https://tinyurl.com/bpsHARformK12)
■ Exam dated from September 2018 to September 2019
■ MUST list all immunizations
