Branford Public Schools Kindergarten Registration Info

From Branford Schools: To register your child for the 2018-2019 school year:

1. Click on the following link: “New Student Registrations.” OR go to www.branfordschools.org and click on New Student Registrations (under District News)
2. After completing the online process, please make an appointment with our District Registrar, Ms. Jessica Strassburg, by calling 203-315-6723.
3. If you have any questions, please contact the District Registrar.

To apply for Pre-K, your child needs to be four before January 1, 2019.

(Students turning five between September 1, 2018 and December 31, 2018 are also eligible if they have not

previously participated in the BPS pre-k program).

To enroll in Kindergarten, your child must be five before January 1, 2019.

Please bring the following to your appointment:
● 2 Proofs of Residency, such as:
● A mortgage statement
● A property tax record
● A rent receipt
● A homeowner’s insurance receipt

● A current utility bill
● Proof of government benefits
● A current Connecticut driver's
license or automobile registration

● Proof of Age, such as:

● A birth certificate
● Passport
● Earlier school records

● A state-issued identification card
● A physician's certification or
immunization records
● Your child’s health records, including an exam within one year of enrollment date. Use Connecticut's HAR-3
form (available from your pediatrician).
Before and after-school services are available through the Family Resource Center/SACC Program.
