Branford Resident Wins Big Lottery Prize

BRANFORD, CT — A Branford resident recently won $10,000 on a winning scratch ticket that was sold in North Branford, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

The resident won $10,000 on a 10X Cash 17th Edition scratch ticket that was sold at Sam's Food Store at 1975 Foxon Rd. in North Branford, according to Lottery officials.

The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners’ full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
