Branford School Administrator Departing For Another Job

BRANFORD, CT — After an extensive search, the Westport Public Schools appointed Dr. Anthony Buono, who is currently serving as Branford's associate superintendent, as an Assistant Superintendent of Schools, commencing July 1, 2018, Branford school officials announced Tuesday.

"Dr. Buono has served the Branford Public Schools with distinction for 14 years. His proven track record of leadership, curriculum development, instructional expertise, and professional development is known throughout the State. Anthony is a child advocate who has provided exemplary leadership to his colleagues and the District. We wish him the very best and thank him for his dedicated service to our District," Branford officials said in a news release.
