Penguin Plunge to benefit Special Olympics Connecticut hosted by Clinton PD & Madison PD

Special Olympics Connecticut is pleased to announce dates for its upcoming Penguin Plunge events and invites all to register for a Penguin Plunge at http://give.soct.org/westbrookplunge. Participants in the Plunge, at all locations, will jump into the chilly waters of a lake or Long Island Sound to support the organization's year-round sports, health and fitness programs for athletes around the state and help create communities that accept and include people of all abilities. The Westbrook Penguin Plunge will be hosted by the Clinton Police Department and Madison Police Department, on Sunday, November 16th. The Plunge will take place at Westbrook Elks Lodge located at 142 Seaside Avenue, Westbrook. Check-in will begin at 9 a.m. and the Plunge will take place at 11 a.m. Participants must be at least eight years old and register for $25. We encourage additional fundraising, with incentives beginning at $150. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged and may be done online at http://give.soct.org/westbrookplunge.

Westbrook Penguin Plunge at Eastern Point Beach, 1 Beach Pond Road, Groton, on Sunday, March 1st
Brookfield Penguin Plunge at Brookfield Town Park, 460 Candlewood Road, Brookfield, on Saturday, March 21st
Tolland Penguin Plunge at Crandall Park, 120 Cider Mill Road, Tolland, on Saturday, March 28th
Plunge at the Park at Wolfe Park, 454 Doc Silverstone Drive, Monroe, on Saturday, March 28th
Fairfield Penguin Plunge at Jennings Beach, 88 S. Benson Road, Fairfield, on Saturday, March 28th
