BRANFORD, CT — The community is coming to the aid of a Branford brewer and his wife who lost their home and all their belongings in a recent fire.

Justin Gargano organized the fundraiser titled "Support Cy's Family Rebuild After Fire."

He wrote: "Last night, Thimble Island's beloved brewer, Cy, and his wife suffered a devastating loss as their home and all their belongings were destroyed in a tragic fire. The community is rallying to support them during this challenging time, recognizing the couple's significant contributions and the warm presence they have brought to Thimble Island. We encourage everyone to come together and extend a helping hand to Cy and his wife, whether through donations or simply providing emotional support. Let's show our collective strength and compassion by helping them rebuild their lives and find comfort in the community they have always enriched."
