Cintas Receives Award of Distinction for Workplace Wellness at 11th Annual Regional Health Care Breakfast Branford, CT - June 13, 2013 – Cintas has received an Award of Distinction for Workplace Wellness. The Workplace Wellness Awards were presented at the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce (GNHCC) Health Care Council Regional Breakfast on June 4 at the Whitney Center in Hamden, which drew over 275 health care and business professionals from across the region. The award honors organizations which enhance the overall health and wellness of their employees by offering exceptional wellness programs. Cintas was recognized for their Live Well program, a program designed to motivate and challenge their partners to live healthier lives. Partners are motivated to participate by the chance to win a $250 Visa gift card, and Cintas hopes to have 80% participation. A leadership team sponsors an annual health and wellness fair, and executes daily activities such as Stretch & Flex and a Hydration Program. Cintas has 150 employees and is located in Branford, Connecticut. Cintas provides customized service programs for Uniforms and Apparel, Facilities Services, First Aid and Safety, Fire Protection, Document Management, Cleanroom Resources, Flame Resistant Clothing and Promotional Products.
