Lost Oil Painting Near Stony Creek, CT

Has anyone found a small oil painting of the rock quarry near Wallace Road in Stony Creek, CT?

The freshly painted plein air oil sketch (approximately 9" × 20") was accidentally left at a roadside pull-off along Wallace Road on Thursday, October 8.

I would be very grateful for its return and would be happy to offer a small gift of appreciation to anyone who finds it.

Thank you for keeping an eye out!
