BRANFORD, CT — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?

Schools often recognize academic achievements for our children. Overlooking the social skills they need in order to be out and about in the real world. Lorelei has exemplified her school wide values of Citizenship, Responsibility, Respect and Safety as she was named as one of 12 in her grade, as a Core 4 recipient. Lorelei will lend a hand and help others and has the utmost respect for students and staff. We are so proud of her!

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star local student?

Lorelei loves to read graphic novels. She also enjoys making up skits and drawing. She enjoys history and musicals too

Congratulations on your achievements, and all of our best wishes to you in the future, Lorelei!
