Fancy Feast Contest Finalist Has Purr-fect Recipe
A Branford woman's recipe is inspired by her two cats.

Branford resident Alicia D. thinks she has the purr-fect recipe for cat food, and Fancy Feast agrees.
Alicia, inspired by her two cats CJ and Milo, is a finalist in Fancy Feast TasteMakers' contest to come up with a new flavor of Fancy Feast Elegant Medleys Gourmet Cat Food.
Out of the 1,600 entries submitted, Alicia’a “Best Of Land And Sea” was chosen to be in the top five. The recipe combines white meat chicken, tuna, spinach and wild rice in a savory broth.

“I believe that the spinach and wild rice add a bit of sophistication that every cat deserves,” she writes on her TasteMakers profile.
The winner will be chosen by Internet vote and by “Top Chef” finalist Carla Hall, and will receive $10,000 cash and a year's supply of Fancy Feast Elegant Medleys Gourmet Cat Food.
