By state law you have to serve food when you open a craft beer site – which is why every craft beer brewery in Branford has at least one or more food trucks on its location.

Those inspections are the responsibility of the town’s Fire Department, and at a recent Board of Fire Commissioners meeting Assistant Fire Chief Shaun Heffernan said they are taking up a fair amount of the department’s time.
“We have to inspect every food truck, that keeps us busy,” said Heffernan, nothing that there could be three or four trucks at one site during busy weekends.
