Handicap Accessible Trail Proposed For Todds Hill Wet Meadow Preserve
The Branford Land Trust is applying for funding for construction of the trail in the 24-acre preserve. A public meeting is set for Jan. 25.

BRANFORD, CT — Todds Hill Wet Meadow Preserve is a Branford Land Trust 24-acre open space set-aside located between Todds Hill Road, Cherry Hill Road and Parish Farm Road. In an effort to provide access for those with disabilities, the Trust will be applying for funding to install a handicap accessible trail in the preserve. It's set a public meeting for later this month to share its plans for the proposed trail.
The future trail would be open to all, but designed "specifically for the enjoyment of individuals with disabilities," according to the Land Trust. "This type of accessible and sustainable trail creates inclusive communities that benefit everyone."
The public meeting is set for 7 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 25 at the Town Firehouse, 45 North Main St.
