Help Sought To ID Suspect Who Robbed Liberty Bank Friday: Police
A man wearing a fedora hat robbed the bank Friday morning, police said, and made a getaway in a white Honda with an unknown amount of cash.
BRANFORD, CT — A man wearing a tan fedora hat and sunglasses robbed the Liberty Bank Saturday morning and fled in a white Honda with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
At around 10:20 a.m., a man wearing a dark blue Nike hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, dark-colored shoes, blue face mask, brown framed sunglasses, and the fedora walked into the West Main Street bank.

He passed a note to a teller demanding money and warning them to not activate the alarm, police said. Branford Police Department Dep. Chief John Alves confirmed the man did not say he had a weapon nor display one.

After demanding the money, the tellers handed over an undetermined amount of cash and the man, described as white or Hispanic, fled in a newer model 4-door white Honda Accord, with rain guards, a sunroof and no front plate, and an unknown rear plate, police posted in a release on Facebook.
