Here Is Branford Schools Next Food Service Provider

BRANFORD, CT — Branford Public Schools announced Monday that after a "competitive bidding process" the district's next food service provider will be Chartwells division of Compass Group.

"Chartwells' proposal includes a modest, guaranteed operating surplus. As a result, the Board of Education will mitigate the level of financial assistance provided to the food service program. We look forward to working with the Chartwells staff to provide an outstanding food service operation for the District's children. Chartwells will also provide meals as part of BPS Summer Meals program, which runs from June 25, 2018 through August 24, 2018," school officials said.
