With four albums to her credit, Scott has proven to be a mainstay in the field and promise for the future as a soloist and collaborator. Her recordings and collaborations include fellow jazz greats Jonathan Fritzen, James Lloyd, Jazmin Ghent, The Peet Project among others.

From her 2011 debut album, “Crossing Over”, which received high acclaim to her #1 Billboard charting 2019 album, “Free to Be”, this Innversion Records label artist has impressed audiences across the globe including those in the Seabreeze Jazz Festival, Blues Alley, Greater Hartford Jazz Festival, Music City Jazz Festival, Supercruise/Capital Jazz Fest and Preserve Jazz Fest. Following her records label signing in 2016, she released the single “Sizzle”, written by her and trumpeter Lin Rountree, which made its way to the top 20 on national smooth jazz charts. September 2016 saw the release of “Southern Heat”, Kim’s third album and her debut album on the Innervision label, that took the world by storm. Kim’s latest single, “Emerge”, was co-written by herself and pianist Jonathan Fritzen and is the lead single from her 4th album “Free to Be”. The single was #1 for two weeks on the Billboard and Groove charts. “Free to Be” was released July 19, 2019 and made its way to Billboard’s top 25 Jazz Albums chart.

“I’m greatly looking forward to being part of the Branford Jazz Concert Series this year," Scott said. "The fans in Connecticut have been so supportive of my music and career, and I have great memories of my past performances in Hartford a few years ago. I can’t wait to see you all again! The audience at Branford Jazz’s concert can expect to see a high energy performance of some of my greatest hits over the years, and I’ll be playing music from my latest CD 'Free to Be.'"
