Jeannette L. Palluzzi Memorial Spelling Bee Winners Announced
The spelling bee, in honor of one of Branford's "most loyal and loving educators," was held Saturday.

BRANFORD, CT — Branford Parks and Recreation's annual Jeannette L. Palluzzi Memorial Spelling Bee was held Saturday.
Here are the winners per grade:
Grade 3:
1st Place –Mason Brown, Tisko School
2nd Place – Regina Kim, Homeschooled
3rd Place- Liam Mcdonough, Sliney School

Grade 4:
1st Place – Ethan Petrungaro, Murphy School
2nd Place- Reetu Shrestha, Sliney School
3rd Place- Vidhi Desai, Murphy School
Grade 5&6:
1st Place- James Kim, Homeschooled
2nd Place-Beau Rebhun, Walsh Intermediate

1st Place – Charlotte Rebhun, Walsh Intermediate
High School/Adults:
1st Place- Charlotte Rebhun, Walsh Intermediate
2nd Place- Leslie Klarman, Adult
3rd Place- Azaan Siddiqy, Branford High School
The Bee is held in honor of one of Branford’s "most loyal and loving educators," organizers said. The volunteer judges were Kathy Nelson, Judy Spaar, and Diane Kaczynski.
