Cops Found Terrence Broxton High On Drugs, They Said, With Heroin, Crack & Loaded .357: PD
Responding to a "suspicious person" call, cops say they found a new Haven man "under the influence," carrying a loaded Ruger .357 revolver.

BRANFORD, CT — A New Haven man knocked on a Foxbridge Village Road resident's door just before 1:30 a.m. Thursday, and when cops arrived, he told them he had a gun while disobeying officers' orders, Branford police said.
Apparently "under the influence of narcotics," police said, Terrence Broxton, 33, was found to have a "loaded Ruger .357 revolver extra ammunition, crack, heroin and a legal amount of marijuana."
According to court records and police, Broxton is currently on probation for past felony convictions for the sale of narcotics and weapons possession.

Branford police charged him with criminal possession of a firearm, carrying a pistol without a permit and possession of narcotics.
While in police custody, Broxton was evaluated at the hospital based on his narcotics use, Branford police said.

He remained in police custody on a $100,000 bond and was later transported to New Haven Superior Court for arraignment, police said.
