Man Runs From Dunkin' After Burglary, Attempt To Break Open ATM: PD
America may run on Dunkin,' but cops caught a RI man, 55, running from a Branford doughnut spot wearing black and a ski mask at 1:30 a.m.

BRANFORD, CT — It was 1:30 in the morning, inside the Dunkin' on North Main Street, when, after getting an alarm activation, cops found a man wearing all black, including a black ski-mask "flee" out the back door and run into the woods. Police chased the man and captured him on Cedar Street.
Branford police said that through its investigation, they learned that David Degrasse, 55, of Rhode Island, allegedly broke into the eatery and was trying to break into its ATM. Police said that Degrasse used "pry bars, several cutting blades and a reciprocating saw in an attempt to enter the ATM machine."
Degrasse was charged with third-degree burglary, possession of burglary tools, first-degree criminal mischief, second-degree criminal mischief, and interfering with an officer.

He was taken to New Haven Superior Court for arraignment Friday and was held on bond.
According to Rhode Island court records, Degrasse has a lengthy criminal history.
