Meet The Branford Police Department's 2 Newest Officers

Casey McCone, a University of Bridgeport ​graduate and Andrew Luzzi, an Albertus Magnus College graduate, are Branford's newest officers.

BRANFORD, CT — Police introduced the town's newest patrol officers Monday.

The new officers are Casey McCone and Andrew Luzzi.

McCone graduated from the University of Bridgeport in 2017 with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences with a focus in Criminal Justice. He was hired by Nelson Ambulance in 2018 and spent three years there as an Emergency Medical Technician. He then worked for Norwalk Hospital for the past two years as an EMT until he joined the Branford Police Department.

Luzzi attended Albertus Magnus College and graduated with his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice in 2022. He interned with the New Haven Police Department before joining the Branford Police Department.

"We are happy to have both of these new officers with us, and we are wishing them a safe and successful career," police wrote on Facebook. "They are both looking forward to serving the Town of Branford."
