BRANFORD, CT – It has been more than three weeks since 10-year-old Ben Callahan drowned in the Branford River and the community still is grieving. A sure sign of that is the memorial to Ben that still sits near where he drowned on July 7th after he was playing the river with his two younger brothers.

He was found dead inside a pipe by rescue workers after a three hour search. Mourners, on a continuous basis, still make regular visits to where he was found, and the memorial.
