Obituary: Dorothy G. Desi, 92, of Branford

Dorothy G. Desi age 92 of Branford, CT passed away peacefully at her home on November 27, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Louis W Desi. She was born August 12, 1930 to the late John Chezek and Helen Vaiciulis Chezek.

Dorothy earned a BS degree in Nursing from St Joseph's College, and worked as an RN. She left her profession to raise her family, and eventually returned to the work force as a banker. She ended her career in banking when she retired, and at the time was a Vice President with Connecticut Savings Bank working in Private Clients.

She was devoted to her family, and will be sadly missed. She is survived by her five children, Louis Desi of Westfield MA, Janice Desi of Middletown, Michael Desi of Branford, Judith Pegno of Manhasset NY, and Elizabeth Desi of Branford. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 p.m. on Saturday December 3, 2022 at St. Therese Church, 105 Leetes Island Rd., Branford, CT. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Connecticut Hospice and St. John Bosco Parish in Branford.
