Obituary: Gerald "Jerry" Normand Guay, 80, of Branford
A US Army veteran, he worked 32 years for UPS, he loved baseball, and enjoying travel, he'd visit as many baseball fields as possible.

Gerald Normand Guay (Jerry) passed away peacefully on Saturday February 25, 2023 with his family at his side. Jerry was born in Fall River, Massachusetts, a son of the late Germaine Levesque Guay and Normand Guay. He is survived by his daughters Jennifer Correia of Newburgh, Indiana and Michelle Parenteau (husband Timothy) of Newport, New Hampshire; his brother Roger Guay of Branford and sister Nancy Cervoni of Wallingford. He is also survived by 8 beloved grandchildren: Laura, Mark, Scott, Matthew, Kelly, Christopher, Michael, and Melissa, and 9 beloved great-grandchildren: MacKenzie, Madelyn, Conor, Lachlin, Jayden, Dominic, Gabriel, Lillyana, and Ralphie, and his favorite granddog Ben. He was predeceased by his loving son Keith Guay, his son in law John Correia, and granddaughter, Stephanie.
Jerry served in the United States Army. He worked for United Parcel Service for 32 years and made many good friends in Branford before retiring. He loved to spend his time traveling. He would stop at as many baseball fields as he could. He was and avid sports fan and he loved the Boston Red Sox. He will surely be missed by many.

Friends are invited to a memorial visitation on Wednesday from 4-7 P.M. at the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St. Branford. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home Thursday morning at 10:00 with burial of his urn to follow at St. Agnes Cemetery in Branford. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dan Cosgrove Animal Shelter, 749 East Main St., Branford, CT 06405. Please see his online memorial @ www.wsclancy.com.
