Obituary: Henry Bromley, 89, of Branford
A memorial service has been set for the beloved Henry Bromley, AKA 'Branford's Number 1 Fan,' who passed away Dec. 22, 2022.

Henry Bromley of Branford died December 15, 2022 at the Arden House in Hamden.
Henry was born on 4/27/1933 in Niantic CT. Henry moved to the Southbury Training School in 1941 where he stayed for 32 years. While there he developed many skills from working the following jobs; at the Bakery, Grocery Store, Housekeeping, Kitchen, Butcher Shop and Farm Fields until 1976. Henry became part of the Marrakech family in 1995 up until his passing. He resided in an apartment in New Haven prior to moving to Branford. Henry had the unique ability to make friends instantly! His life was filled with amusing adventures.

Henry became a regular at local businesses. He frequented the Humphrey Bar when he resided in New Haven to listen to the live music and enjoy the food. He even had the opportunity to go on tour with one of the bands!
Henry loved sports and joined the Marrakech Special Olympics soccer team. When he moved to Branford, he continued his fascinating and charming life! He was known as the "H Bomb" and loved by the Branford Hornets Baseball Team; even traveled on the bus to games with them.

Henry will be greatly missed by all who knew him, especially his special support friend, Maria Hartman.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 11 a.m. at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford, with visitation prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.
