Obituary: Rhonda J. Pepe, 61, of Branford

Rhonda J. Pepe of Branford passed away Tuesday December 27, 2022, at Yale Smilow Hospital after a brief illness.

Rhonda was born in New Haven April 11, 1961, a daughter of Rhonda Schnyer Pepe of Branford and the late Peter A. Pepe. She worked as an elder caregiver for No Place Like Home for many years. She also was a private care for the elderly for many years. Rhonda enjoyed music, dancing, swimming, playing the numbers and trips to the casino.

Besides her mother she is survived by her siblings Lisa Prior of West Haven, Peter Pepe of FL, and Frank (Starr) Pepe of Meriden, her nieces Teresa and Cristina and her nephew Frankie and great-nephew, AJ Pepe. She was predeceased by her beloved brother-in-law Rob Prior.

Visiting hours are Monday January 2, 2023, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday morning at 10:00 in St. John Bosco Parish at St. Mary Church, 731 Main Street, Branford. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven.
