Obituary: Stuart (Bounce) Clancy, 76, of Branford
Bounce was quite the cook and gardener in his later years. When he was growing up, it was baseball, pool, and fishing.

Stuart (Bounce) Clancy of Branford passed away on Saturday December 17 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He is survived by his children, Kevin Clancy of East Haven and Kimberlee Loughery (husband Jim) of Naperville, IL. He is also survived by his sister Maureen Clancy of Branford, and his former wife Lucille Clancy of Branford, and his grandchildren: Brooke, Autumn, Kevin, Dakota, Kristine, and Daniel. He was predeceased by his wife Shirley Clancy, his brother Kevin Clancy, and his sister Susan Letis. Bounce was born on June 13, 1946, a son of Stuart and June Lucas Clancy.
He worked for many years for Echlin Manufacturing and Neal’s Flooring. Bounce was quite the cook and gardener in his later years. When he was growing up, it was baseball, pool, and fishing.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:00 at St. Mary Church of St. John Bosco Parish in Branford. Burial will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery in Branford. Friends may call prior to the Mass from 8:30 – 9:30 at the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St. Branford.
